I make small, free tools for people who want to put something cool on the web
without first learning a build system. These typically originate from projects I am/have worked on.

BestTime is the current one: a zoomable
timeline you embed with a single script tag, driven by a Google Sheet since most people know how to edit that already. It's one 17 KB file with zero dependencies, it works in plain HTML and in every framework, and it reads existing TimelineJS sheets unchanged so nobody has to retype years of work if porting over to BestTime. This originated from my non profit work with Memory Mission.

It's MIT licensed. There's no paid tier, no hosted plan, no telemetry, and no
account to make. There won't be.

What sponsorship pays for

Time, mostly (I am also a broke college student). The unglamorous parts that make a tool actually usable rather than merely working:

• Answering issues from people whose spreadsheet does something I didn't expect
• Accessibility work, including a proper screen-reader pass
• A mobile version of the timeline axis, which is the biggest gap right now
• Keeping the docs honest as things change
