OpenSolvers benchmarks and tunes open-source scientific software and AI inference engines on real RISC-V hardware — OpenBLAS, FlexiBLAS, EESSI, HPL, Quantum ESPRESSO, llama.cpp, and friends. Results and fixes stay public at opensolvers.com.

Today we run what we can keep on the desk: SiFive U74 (VisionFive 2) and SpacemiT X60 / K1 (Orange Pi RV2, Banana Pi F3). That already found real bugs (X60 gemv_n NaNs) and usable wins (U74 DGEMM, IME kernels, RVV backends).

Sponsorship is how we add platforms. Boards and time are the bottleneck. Two we especially want next:

  • T-Head C910 — a widely shipped core class we have not instrumented yet
  • SpacemiT K3 — next step after K1 / X60 (RVA23, newer IME / vector); we need silicon to extend the same kernel and app work

Your support buys those boards and the careful A/B runs — then we publish the notes.

@opensolvers

Buy a SpacemiT K3 Pico-ITX so we can extend K1/X60 scientific-software and AI inference work to RVA23 K3. Entry 8GB is ~$293–$299; 16GB ~$380–$400; 32GB ~$575–$640. Same open A/B methodology, public results on opensolvers.com.
