Hi Saif,

The following line in your GenericService base class:

this.cClass = (Class<C>)((ParameterizedType)getClass().getGenericSuperclass()).

Is causing the problem. You need to compensate for the possibility that getClass() may be a CGLIB-generated subclass, and that you will therefore need to call getClass().getSuperclass().getGenericSuperclass().

You can consider using Spring's own AopUtils#isCglibProxyClass (note this is deprecated in Spring 3.1 in favor of ClassUtils#isCglibProxyClass)
