PV Savings Logic

I'm looking to use HA to calculate my payback on solar & and batteries, and saw predbat has the cost without PV running total sensor. Does anyone know the high level logic behind calculating the money saved or can point to the file(s) it's stored in?

Essentially need to confirm it calculates my baseline cost (weighted cost for load + battery charge) - net cost from using solar each day (weighted cost for solar, battery charging, export). I wondered whether it accounted for the battery efficiency you or in the apps.yaml or any opportunity cosy for putting solar into battery over exporting it

Thanks, I had looked through the docs and github discussions/issues first but they're so comprehensive, it's a little difficult finding what you're after sometimes!

We've tried to make it logical but there is a lot of documentation, agreed!

It's much better than some other documentation I've had to use for work. And actually kept up to date which is an achievement in itself!
