Can I get some hints about making sure the car does not charge from the house battery. The system seemed to be auto configured for IOG when I set it up. I have set up a custom integration for Alpha Ess Modbus control. I am in read only mode testing.
Car is currently charging.
Plan is showing the car charge slots, but the state just shows as "Demand" rather than "Hold for Car". Battery SOC is shown not to change during the slot, so the plan expects the battery to be frozen, but no state change is indicated.
Allow car to charge from battery is false.
There are entries in the log:
"Your car is currently charging."
70548 | 2026-08-29 12:05:00.857522: Cars 1 charging from battery False planned [True], charging_now [False] smart [False], max_price [0.0]p, plan_time ['07:00:00'], battery size [100.0]kWh, limit [100.0]% ([100.0]kWh), rate [7.4]kW, exclusive [False] (Predbat-led car settings, not Octopus Intelligent state)
Is this somehow normal or is something wrong there as I was expecting to see "Hold for Car" or something similar in the state.
Also - when the hold for car is working correctly, which service is supposed to be called in the apps.yaml? Currently I have only configured Charge start, Freeze charge, stop charge, discharge start, freeze discharge, discharge stop.
