I’m commissioning Predbat with a Sigenergy SigenStor + Gateway and have a question around forced discharge and backup reserve.
My intended setup is:
What I’m trying to confirm is:
This matters especially for Predbat freeze modes, where temporary limits may be applied.
My current plan is to keep a conservative 10% discharge cut-off for initial testing, then test Backup SoC 10% / discharge cut-off 0% under both grid-connected forced discharge and a controlled islanding event.
Has anyone already tested this on SigenStor + Gateway, or seen Sigenergy documentation covering the Remote EMS → islanded transition?
