Holiday Mode

Hi there,

I’ve made a calendar type entry on a separate dashboard where you select “holiday from” and “holiday to” along with the relevant scaling factor but the scaling factor doesn’t really work for me. Would it be possible for predbat to look at the typical idle load (which in my house at least is very predictable) to base the holiday plan on? At the moment I think it’s going to skew the ML forecasting for when I return from holiday?

Predbat doesn't read any calendar for holiday details, but it does have a holiday mode https://springfall2008.github.io/batpred/customisation/#holiday-mode

The documentation was written when days_previous was the only option for load prediction. LoadML might not recognise the holiday mode (in which case it should be raised as a defect). But temporarily disable loadML and you should be able to use the existing predbat mechanism,

Yep, my calendar just looks at the dates selected then adds the correct number of days to the holiday days remaining for the given period. I was looking for something a bit smarter than just a scaling factor.
