Battery continues discharging below configured reserve

Describe the bug
Sometimes the inverter is instructed to continue discharging below the configured reserve percentage, even though the log file shows that Predbat recognises that the current SoC is already at (or below) the desired level.

The plan screen shows SoC should be held, but dash shows the battery discharging and log shows a discharge slot being set and activated.

Restarting Predbat or HomeAssistant does not help. Predbat has to be put in Monitor mode and GivEnergy controls used to clear the configured discharge slot.

Expected behaviour
If SoC is at or below the configured reserve SoC then the battery should not discharge.

Screenshots
Battery chart screenshot shows reserve SoC reached around 18:00 and battery holds that level correctly. Around 21:30 with no change battery starts to discharge below the reserve SoC. Manual intervention around 22:00 to stop the issue.

strange, you have input_number.predbat_set_reserve_min set to 20 as you say

I do notice that switch.predbat_set_reserve_enable is set to null even though the default is true. This is an expert mode switch that activates the reserve so I wonder if this is for some reason not working when expert mode is off.

As a workaround, try turning on switch.predbat_expert_mode, this should enable you to then check that switch.predbat_set_reserve_enable is on, and if its not, turn it on

Thanks for looking - I enabled expert mode and the set_reserve_enable switch immediately showed as on. I'll leave expert enabled and see if the problem happens again. It might take a while, sometimes it happens a couple of times in a week, sometimes there's a few weeks between occurrences.

the default for that switch is that its on, and so even when you don't have expert mode turned on, the reserve should operate as expected. You may well have found an issue that the reserve switch isn't set properly when expert mode is off

if it gets to the circumstances where the reserve should be required (possibly by increasing the reserve), it would be useful to see if turning expert mode off and restarting predbat, if the reserve not being adopted issue reappears
