Describe the problem

My model is DirectQuery and when I try to Manage Dates, I get this error:

@mscottsewell What data source are you using? Is it a relational database, a multidimensional database, or something else ?

It's a new Power BI Datamart.

I think that the problem is the preview of the Date table in Bravo that uses such a technique - I never used Data Mart, so we have to investigate. I'll keep you posted.

@mscottsewell With the current version of Power BI Datamart, I see that:

• if you connect live to the dataset creating by Power BI datamart, you get another error because it is not supported to connect to the endpoint provided by the datamart (at least this is what I am experiencing).
• it you create a local model (a composite model connected to the remote model), then the Manage Dates feature works correctly and shows the preview of the date table.

I'm going to close this case - please let me know if you have a repro we can use with the current version of Datamart.

Hi @mscottsewell, I'm reopening this issue as we received another report for the same bug (#491)

Please let me know if the issue still exists today with the current version of Datamart.
If the problem still persists, could you provide the steps to reproduce?
