Spoon runner hangs on "Moving screenshots to the image folder on [xxxxx]"

Sometimes Spoon runner hangs (for hours, gets aborted by Jenkins) on Moving screenshots to the image folder on [xxxxx] message.
Tested on 4.3 and 4.4.4 devices with Spoon runner 1.5.7 and 1.6.1.
Android Debug Bridge version: 1.0.36.

Removing /sdcard/app_spoon-files and /sdcard/app_spoon-screenshots before running tests fixed the problem.
