onboarding/welcome screen?

hi! i host an irc server and recommend halloy as it's got the best compatibility with the new flashy fancy ircv3 features. the thing is, i've gotten a sizeable amount of complaints from people who find configuring halloy too difficult. in response i made this https://potatoe.ca/things/halloy_config_generator which is some tool that i'm told has made configuring halloy much easier.

i think this would be better as maybe a built in screen you can activate in some menu or that shows up when you have an empty config, and i'd be happy to make a pr! but i'm wondering what people would actually think of this. is it a good idea? is it a bad idea? what do you think it would look like? any feedback for the little site i made would also be appreciated!

ooh that looks like a really good spot to put it. you can sorta do the thing with markdown editors where you can click on a WYSIWYG editor or just edit the raw markup. maybe halloy could have something similar, that'd be neat
