Could you please provide an example of cloning a repository over HTTPS with Basic Auth

Unfortunately there is no example code for cloning a repository over HTTPS with Basic Authentication enabled. I would really appreciate if you could provide an example.

I just found two examples in some closed tickets.

The http.BasicAuth struct included in the "gopkg.in/src-d/go-git.v4/plumbing/transport/http" package will do you the favor of allowing you to separate your auth from the url and also will redact the secret when logged:
