Card Stack v1.2.0 - Critical Bug Fix 🐛🔧

⚠️ CRITICAL BUG FIX - Highly Recommended Update

This release fixes a critical gameplay bug that affected game balance and fairness in all previous versions.

🐛 Critical Fix: Card Matching Rules

The Problem (v1.0.0 - v1.1.0)

The game was incorrectly allowing cards to be played that violated standard card game rules:

This made the game much too easy and unfair.

What's Fixed (v1.2.0)

✅ Action cards now require color match - Red Skip ONLY works on Red cards
✅ Number matching works correctly - Red 5 can be played on Blue 5 (this is correct)
✅ Wild cards work anytime - No change, works as expected
✅ Game is now properly challenging - Follows standard card game rules

Correct Rules Now Enforced

A card can ONLY be played if:

  1. Same color (Red on Red, Blue on Blue, etc.) OR
  2. Same number (for number cards only: Red 5 on Blue 5) OR
  3. It's a Wild card (can be played anytime)

Examples:

  • ✅ Red 5 on Red 7 (same color)
  • ✅ Red 5 on Blue 5 (same number)
  • ✅ Wild on anything
  • ✅ Red Skip on Red 3 (same color)
  • ❌ Red Skip on Blue Skip (different colors, not numbers)
  • ❌ Blue Draw Two on Yellow Draw Two (different colors, not numbers)

🔄 Feature: Screen Rotation Support

New Feature

  • App now supports both portrait and landscape orientations
  • Auto-rotation follows your device settings
  • Layout automatically adapts to orientation

Note: Game will restart when rotating. Full state preservation coming in future update.
