cancel bug , escape bug.

Description

So well im a bug hunter. but now i wanted to find a .python file , so it used grub and now if i press cancel (ESC) then it resets and i can't be fast enough do to it. well hope it ends soon

Steps to reproduce

1. Make it to not cancel the escape function
2. Make it so it asks more stuff before.
3. and maybe make it use something else

• Grep fails when pattern starts with a dash #3524: Grep tool failing - while not exactly the same, this shows issues with search/grep functionality that might be related to your Python file search problem

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case with the grep/search operation being reset when pressing ESC.

Video was lifesaver had people say this but never provided means to reproduce now I know why it happens sometimes lol
