Summary

• Validate VERSION in scripts/detect-pm.mjs against a safe semver/dist-tag charset before embedding it in dlx package specs.
• Reject line breaks and shell metacharacters that could poison exec output or GITHUB_OUTPUT.
• Write GITHUB_OUTPUT via formatGithubOutput (heredoc for multiline values).
• Add regression tests for bad VERSION input and pinned-output file shape.
