No, I am talking about the reference implementation. We added polygamma based on an upstream Boost implementation. See the comment in the file you linked to in the OP. I suggest reading the code in Boost to see how our implementation differs. It is likely there was a mistake made when porting from Boost C++ to JavaScript.

Got it @kgryte , AX is actually the Maximum value of the datatype, in C we might have to use MAX_FLOAT64 constant , but in JS we don't actually have an upper limit so thats why it is undefined
