This PR does the following:

  • Refactors various bash scripts, particularly for running builds
  • Adds utility modules, such as uppercase, lowercase, node-version, etc.
  • Adds a module for running scripts in parallel
  • Refactors Makefile recipes
  • Parallelizes builds
  • Updates dependencies
  • Fixes periodically failing tests on Windows environments due to distinguishable NaN values in old Node versions
  • Adds a Codecov configuration file
  • Includes various other minor fixes
