SELECTION: independent control of start and end of selected region.(Adjusting range of currently selected region)

The ability to move start and end of selected region independently. The current way is a bit finnicky because if you want to change selection size you have to re-click and drag again which means less precision because it restarts the whole selection process . It would be better to create selection and be able to move the start and end of the region without one affecting the other in order to adjust the size. The aim is to get a seamless loop: using the numeric boxes involves a lot of guesswork plus trial and error to achieve this.

That's great news. Another related idea would be the ability to change(increase/decrease)numbers in the value fields of the loop points using the up/down arrows of the keyboard.
