Seasonal recommendations?

A question and an idea in one, I guess.

With October coming up, I was wondering if Shortlist recommendations changed based on seasonal context - am I more likely to see recommendations for spooky horror movies in the run-up to Halloween, or Christmas movies in December? Would the AI search be able to include that context during a run? If that's not something in the app, I think it'd be a good addition.

Good idea, this is in now. It's on the :dev image today and will be in the next release.

Go to Rows → Add a row → Seasonal. Out of the box it covers Valentine's Day, Halloween and Christmas, showing each one from a month before until the day. It fills with that season's films from your own library, picked for each person, and changes every night. Between seasons it hides itself and comes back the next year.

You can pick which seasons it follows, how early and late each one shows, and use {season} or {season_emoji} in the name, e.g. "🎃 Halloween picks".
