Description
Wednesday
Alright! Today, I coded the first version of my RegEx replacer that translates the additional markdown syntax that I want to support in my GitHub Chromium extension. (Oh-so-cleverly, I've decided to call this Enhanced-GitHub Flavored Markdown (Enh-GFM) atm. 😄)
In order to speed up testing, I coded a separate testbed for the RegEx replacer. So far, two gifs are supported along with YouTube embeds (in three different formats). In the testbed, there's a freeform textarea on the LHS that you type your markdown in; and then hitting ctrl-s will preview that markdown in the RHS div.
Eventually, I'll serve this testbed as a static HTML page that anyone can play with, just to see the new features that the extension offers for enhancing GitHub issue markdown.
We're on our way! 😀🎉🥳
Extra/Fun 🎉
In the evening, Shaza and I went for a walk in Sharon Woods and then stopped by Uncle Yip's in Sharonville for dinner (Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup)! It was delicious! 😄
