I've added Toggle Free Pan ( When it's on, the view can go past the page edges by half a window in every direction, so any part of a page, including a corner, can be dragged or scrolled to the center of the screen. Fit Page / Fit Width and where a page lands when you navigate to it are unchanged; it only adds scroll room. The state is remembered per document. It has no default shortcut. To bind it to ( It'll be in the next pre-release build. |

Uh oh!

Describe the solution you'd like
Please add a Free Panning toggle mode activated by pressing the F key (similar to Photoshop's Screen Mode/Canvas Pan):
Hotkey F: Toggles Free Panning mode ON/OFF.
Behavior when ON: Removes the strict page-boundary scroll limits. Users can drag (Hand tool / Space + Click) or scroll any part of the page—including corners and edges—directly to the center of the viewport, introducing flexible margins/overscroll space beyond the document limits.
Behavior when OFF: Reverts to default locked panning (scrolling stops when document edges hit the window frame).
Why this is needed
Currently, document edges lock against the window boundaries, making it impossible to center a corner detail on screen. This toggle will significantly improve readability for large schematics, comics, and high-res PDFs when examining corner details.
