Important

Were you using this card before the rename from Skylight Calendar Card?

Please check Settings → Dashboards → Resources and remove any old Skylight resource:

❌ /hacsfiles/skylight-calendar-card/skylight-calendar-card.js

Keep only the current Daylight resource:

✅ /hacsfiles/daylight-calendar-card/skylight-calendar-card.js

The filename is still skylight-calendar-card.js; the folder should be daylight-calendar-card.

Stale resources can make new features appear missing or broken even when HACS shows the latest version. See the troubleshooting guide:

Custom Neutral Background for Combined Events (combine_events.background_color)
- Added support for specifying a custom neutral background color when using combined events.
- Allows combined events to better match your dashboard theme while maintaining calendar color indicators.
Configurable Week Number Prefix (week_number_prefix)
- Customize the text displayed before month-view week numbers (for example, W, Week, or a localized prefix).
- Also resolves incorrect Dutch week labels.

Recurring Event Fixes
- Fixed an issue where recurring event weekdays were not always evaluated correctly.
Event Modal Improvements
- Fixed button overflow in the event details modal on smaller displays.
Header Layout Improvements
- Eliminated unnecessary header spacing when the calendar title is left blank, allowing cleaner minimalist layouts.
