On Task is a productivity app where users are able to take control and manage their day to day tasks through utlising the features in the app, such as logging their tasks, setting timers to complete these tasks, and gaining a overview of their work week and events to aid in their time management and work completion.
Description On Task allows the user to create tasks and time themselves accomplishing their tasks through the TodoList, Task Calendar and Timer Functions. The to do list allows the user to identify tasks that they have for the current day, be it events to attend to, like classes or activities, or work related tasks, like finishing homework or writing a report. The task calendar allows the user to have a complete overview of tasks planned for days, weeks or months in advance, and allow them to add, edit or remove their tasks if necessary. With the timer functions, there is a default timer and a "pomodoro" timer; a cycle timer that allows the user to finish their tasks effectively by adopting the pomodoro method which uses a set duration spent on tasks, followed by a short break, and completed with a long and final break before accomplishing another task. These functions synergise together to let our user take control of their time and plans by logging their day to day activities and task, while incoporating an effective task completion method to finish their work efficiently and effectively.
Additionally, users will be able to customise their user profile such as setting a profile picture, changing their display name in the app, changing their passwords, and deleting their accounts.
The main dashboard provides a interface to interact with all the features, while incoporating aesthetics and a cheerful background that changes based on the time of day. Additionally, user friendly features such as remembering the log in details, a rounded design and short and simple processes makes On Task a simple and effective app that supports our users' journey in taking control of their time. Create a user verification system that allows users to intiliase new accounts, and log into existing ones.
Create a dashboard with recycler views that are able to show snippets/ less detailed versions of task calendar and todo List, as well as icons that lead to the other Features
Allow the user to create goals, customise and edit their User attributes, such as their display name, password and profile picture.
Create a Calendar System that displays the tasks for the day of the date selected, where they can edit, remove or add new tasks,
Shows a more detailed overview of today's task, with their description. Allow user to check off their tasks, upon completion.
Allow user to set and track the time spent on doing their task while leaving the app running, effectively logging these times for further analytics use in Stage 2.

Allows users to look at trends in their tasks by creating charts and graphs based on the data generated by the user's behaviour on the app.
