Hi microsandbox community! I'm sharing Measix Runcove, a project I maintain whose source repository has just become public:
https://github.com/topabomb/measix-runcove
Runcove Server uses microsandbox as the engine for persistent user workspaces. It provides a Rust service layer for MCP clients, with:
The repository also includes Runcove Standalone: one user and one workspace in a single container, sharing the application core but running without microsandbox or KVM. The microsandbox integration described here is the Server deployment.
A few boundaries: the currently validated image platform is Linux/amd64, and Server requires KVM. Server currently pins microsandbox 0.7.2 with documented downstream lifecycle and relay patches; compatibility with newer releases is not being claimed. The runtime notes describe those patches and their removal criteria. Documentation is currently in Chinese, with deployment instructions and version-specific validation records.
Thank you to the microsandbox maintainers and contributors for the microVM foundation and for your work on upstream fixes. I hope this is a useful example of building persistent agent workspaces on microsandbox. Feedback from others working on similar integrations would be very welcome!
