What is the current behavior?

Currently there is no way to continue to a new page if validation errors exist.

What is the expected behavior?

It would be nice if we could introduce the idea of a "warning" that would display a "validation" message on a question while not failing actual validation.

I have a scenario where I might need to trigger a 3rd party web service to fill out additional required information on the survey. I don't control that web service so in instances where the service either takes a long time to return or is down all together, I would like the user to be able to continue filling out the survey while warning them that they will need to come back to ensure the information is filled out.

Hi,
To achieve this, I suggest that you implement the SurveyModel.onCompleting event and check whether a target field is empty. If it is, set options.allow to false and display a custom validation message within the target question by adding a CustomError instance to the Questions.errors array. Consider this demo: View Plunker.
