no problem, I am pleased to help you out.

After a quick check, I still can see something wrong.
Here a few examples:

• Study Guide AI-103: duplicated section "What to study next", the first of which is outdated, probably because no more maintained and to be dropped

• Study tools > Cert Compass > Career Paths > Role = AI / ML Engineer > Microsoft

• Study tools > Cert Compass > Closest Matches > AI & ML Fundamentals > Microsoft

Regarding the Cert Compass, probably the cause is in "Compare", where the source cert list very likely is not refreshing

Hi Alek — you were right to flag this. Thanks for testing the follow-up so carefully.

I found two separate gaps. On the AI-103 page, “What to study next” was coming from both the generated content and the page template. Cert Compass had a separate certification catalog that wasn’t filtering retired certifications. So your hunch about Compare was close: it wasn’t just a list-refresh issue; retirement status wasn’t being applied consistently across career paths, closest matches, and comparisons.

I’ve removed the duplicate source and added lifecycle filtering across Compass. The build, lifecycle checks, and browser QA are passing. I haven’t deployed it yet, so I’ll verify the live pages before calling it fixed.

And yes—you’re stricter than Selenium. Thanks for catching it :-)

Hi Alek — the fix is now live, and I've checked the published pages rather than just the local build this time.

The AI-103 guide now has one "What to Study Next" section. Retired entries have also been removed across Cert Compass, including the AI / ML Engineer career path, Closest Matches and the Compare list you flagged. Where removing retired exams leaves no Microsoft entries in a path, that column is omitted rather than suggesting exams you can no longer take.

I checked the other Compass tabs, comparison presets and saved-cert state too. I also changed the weekly page generator so it no longer recreates the duplicate section, and added regression checks for these cases. The changes had an independent review before deployment.

My first fix didn't cover all the places those recommendations were coming from. You were right to come back, and I'm sorry it took a second report to get the scope right.
