Develop a series of books for children/teenagers based on Anne’s paintings of Bob the elephant.
- Bob is 10 years old.
- He grew up in the USA.
- He does not have any relatives other than his parents.
- His parents are circus elephants and travel a lot.
- Bob stays at the circus home base in Gibsonton, FL when his parents are traveling.
- No other elephants are there.
- He plays chess with the sloths; it is a very, very long game.
- He is lonely and has no friends.
- Bob takes a DNA test and discovers he has an uncle in France and a cousin in Germany.
- He calls his uncle in France. His uncle did not know he had a nephew in the USA. They get along famously and set up a meeting in Paris, where his uncle is playing in a chess tournament.
- Bob is "Bob" in a lot of countries, which might get confusing or amusing.
- He calls his cousin in Germany...
- The story continues as Bob visits France and Germany, where he finds out he has additional relatives worldwide and begins a world tour. Each stop is an adventure (mystery) involving a famous location.
Another story line could have Bob travel to each country and get immersed in the culture.
