Automatic receiver start

A bit of help here would be appreciated. I installed receiver in typical drag to applications folder in finder fashion. Now I want to run the script to autostart the receiver, but the cd command fails as I don't know where that TargetBridge-Receiver folder is located.

You’re not missing anything — if you installed the prebuilt app by dragging it into /Applications, then the TargetBridge-Receiver source folder does not exist on your Mac unless you also cloned the repository.

The easiest option is to add TargetBridge Receiver.app to macOS Login Items.

If you want to use the LaunchAgent script, clone the repo first and run:

./TargetBridge-Receiver/scripts/install_tbreceiverc_launch_agent.sh "/Applications/TargetBridge Receiver.app"

Appreciate the feedback. I can do the typical login approach; I wasn't sure if there was more than that in the script. Thank you. I test first with the network connection, and just now picked up the TB2 cable and TB2>TB3 adapter. I really want HiDPI mode w the 2015 27" imac to work as that clarity/quality is really special, and the latency was too much on wifi test mode ... here's hoping!
