"Another thing that is a bit confusing is when uploading data in shp-format and the geospatial extension is presented. One is informed that if the file is a shapefile, wms will automatically be created and the spatial illustration of the data will be the same as of the actual polygon in the file. But here, in this step, the geographic extension is presented as an bound-in-box and thus the user (at least us summer workers) gets confused the first time as we expected the spatial illustration to be like the polygon of the shapefile. We know now that this is not the way the data later will be illustrated when searched for in BYOD. But this is not something that first time user is aware of and thus may be confused.
