How to monitor sympa?

is it somehow possible to monitor sympa? I would like to monitor how many subscribers per list/total and how many mails would be send per list/total.

Do you have a specific monitor software in your mind?

We use zabbix, but this shouldn't matter. more important is how to get this data.. btw: we prefer json-output ;-)
