Offline. Fast. Cyberpunk. Your media, your machine, your rules.

MKVoodoo is a desktop batch video transcoder built for media enthusiasts who
want hardware-accelerated power without the cloud dependency or the ugly UI.
Built with a Flutter frontend and a compiled Python/FFmpeg backend; no Python
installation required on the end user's machine.

🚀 Hardware Acceleration

Automatic detection and utilisation of NVIDIA NVENC and
Intel QuickSync (QSV); your GPU does the heavy lifting so your
CPU doesn't have to.

🧵 Parallel Batch Processing

Queue up entire folders and run multiple conversions simultaneously.
Worker count is configurable in Settings to match your hardware.

🧠 Smart Filename Parsing

Automatic Season/Episode detection with customisable naming templates.
Your library stays organised without you lifting a finger.

📂 Queue Management

Persistent queue with resume support. Interrupted jobs aren't lost —
pick up exactly where you left off. Full conversion history included.

🎧 Track Control

Choose specific audio and subtitle tracks, or keep everything.
Audio is auto-converted to high-quality AAC where needed.

💾 Storage Monitoring

Real-time disk space tracking during batch runs. MKVoodoo warns you
before you run out of room, not after.

📦 Zero-Dependency Installation

The backend is compiled to a standalone executable via Nuitka.
Users install and run — no Python, no setup, no friction.

📥 Installation

  1. Download MKVoodoo_v1.0.0_Setup.exe below
  2. Run the installer and follow the prompts
  3. Launch MKVoodoo from your Start Menu or Desktop shortcut

Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) required.
FFmpeg is bundled so no separate download needed.

🔧 Known Limitations (v1.0.0)

  • Windows only (Linux/macOS builds planned for a future release)
  • AMD GPU acceleration (AMF) not yet supported
  • Queue export/import coming in v1.1.0
