Terms of service

DeadCat is free software from systemBlue, published under the Apache-2.0 license. These terms cover the software, its releases, and the project's support channels. The license governs your rights to use, modify, and distribute the code.

The software

DeadCat is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, as the license states. The tools operate a live DAW session when you direct them to: faders move, tracks appear, the transport rolls. Point them at a session you are prepared to change; reaper_new_project_tab opens a scratch tab for trying things out, and reaper_undo reverses the last edit.

Accounts, payment, and data

There are no accounts and no payment. DeadCat collects nothing; the privacy policy is the full statement.

Support

Support is best effort through issues and systemblueio@icloud.com. No response time or service level is promised.

Changes

Releases may change behavior between versions, and the release notes say what changed. These terms may be revised; the current version lives in this repository.
