Several issues:
|
|
Last night I switched on "Nocturnal Cooling" for my pool's solar heating. The dashPanel display showed the correct setpoints but displayed the Heater Status as Off while the system was actually cooling. My WCP correctly showed cooling active with a "snowflake" icon. |

I did "git pull" on both the poolController and dashPanel. After doing so, the system reverted to a "Nixie Single Body" controller and lost connection with error "ECONNREFUSED 172.16.31.231:9801". I did a packet capture with a restart of poolController: I think I got the main branch of the project. Here is the display of the versions currently running on my system:

The scheduling issues are mostly fixed. I can now add, edit and delete schedule items without a problem. Thank you! However, when adding or editing a Pool or Spa schedule, when I set the Heat Source to "Don't Change" it is recorded in the OCP as "Off". The result is that the Heat Source is turned off when the schedule runs. There continues to be a problem with solar nocturnal cooling. The dashPanel shows the Heater Status "Off" when it is actually in cooling mode. A possibly related item is that dashPanel and the WCP show different values for the Solar temperature. Right now, the WCP shows 91 degrees but dashPanel shows 88 degrees. |

Thanks for working on this on the 4th of July. I hope you enjoyed the holiday! There are still problems with scheduling. Although new schedule items get posted to the OCP, it looks like edits to existing schedule items do not. Also, when editing or adding a Pool or Spa item the edit window allows only "No Change" for the Heat Source. And, the day assignment in schedules continues to be off by one. For example, turning of Wednesday for a scheduled item using dashPanel causes Tuesday to be turned off on the WCP. I did a capture with the following events:
End of capture The system is now correctly handling solar Nocturnal Cooling. The Heat Point, Cool Point and Heat Mode all show correct information and the Heater Status now shows "Cooling" when solar cooling is active. The Solar Temp display now shows the correct value. The only remaining issue is the snowflake icon isn't being displayed. The "lights" on the Chemistry and Pumps element panels don't turn green when the Pool is running. With the exception of chlorinator output %, the panels do show the correct information but the "lights" remain grey:

Looks good! Fixed: Remaining Issues: Unknown: Thanks! |

That fixed it. Thanks! |

A new issue: When I try to increase the temperature set point for the pool using dashPanel I get the error "IntelliCenterWS: 'SetParamList' rejected by OCP (response=400)". However, I am able to increase the temperature at the OCP and using the WCP and when I do that dashPanel correctly displays the new setting. I have attached a capture starting before I try to increase the temp using dashPanel (fails), then using the OCP (successful), and finally using the WCP (successful).. |

That fixed it. Thanks! |

The Intellicenter allows for local network connections over websockets. I published a new branch and would appreciate some QA testing by others. These comms allow you to talk directly to your Intellicenter without any RS485 connectors. There is about 85% of the functionality via the web sockets.
Download the branch and try it out - https://github.com/tagyoureit/nodejs-poolController/tree/WS-ICv1-ICv3-Refactor
and also the dashPanel branch - https://github.com/rstrouse/nodejs-poolController-dashPanel/tree/WS-ICv1-ICv3-Refactor
To set the comms, change the network type to
Intellicenter Networkin the Settings->Controller->Comms section. All reactions
