Thought you were already using solidcore? Seems to imply that in the main github page. |

We're evaluating a new geometry kernel for SolidCraft: solidcore, a safe, deterministic, wasm-friendly Rust B-rep kernel. Until that's decided, please don't open new issues, pull requests or discussions about kernel work: booleans, fillets, chamfers, shell, offsets, sweeps and lofts, threads and holes, STEP/IGES import and export, tessellation, or anything else that changes
crates/kernel/.Nothing you've done is lost. Open pull requests that change
crates/kernel/have been set to draft, and that's all: your branches, your commits and the review history stay exactly as they are. Better still, the cases you found and fixed are some of the most valuable things we have. Every part, every reproduction and every test you wrote is going into the new kernel's regression suite, so each bug you chased down stays fixed, whatever kernel SolidCraft ends up on.Come build it with us. If you've been working on booleans, fillets, blends or import here, you know these problems better than almost anyone. We'd love your help in solidcore: porting your cases over as tests, or taking on a piece of the kernel itself.
What else this means:
kernel-pausedlabel, and one of us will answer each one.Thank you, all of you, for the enormous amount of kernel work you've put into SolidCraft. It's the reason we can make this decision with real data instead of guesses.
