8bf Plugins - any recommendations? #745

One man's trash is another man's treasure so it just depends. This page[1] lists a number of sites with plugins, many links still work, but a few are offline - in such cases you can use web.archive.org to try and download them. You have to pay attention to 32 v 64 bit, PD needs 32bit. Some won't work at all, some 100% perfectly. Also many just partially, for example in plugins sometimes you can't select colours where you can set or select various colours to be used by the plugin which makes them a lot less useful - or when you apply the effect, PD crashes. Note that some of these plugins are very old (I think I saw some going back to the 90s early 00s) - be sure to experiment on test images. One I'm looking for is a working drop shadow plugin: I've tried various, but they are either just button/bevel plugins or the drop shadow simply doesn't work such as in this case https://www.pluginfilters.com/photoswizzle/filter2.html |

Tanner has recently improved the handling Photoshop 8bf plugins. I need recommendations for plugins that have been used successfully with PhotoDemon. What are your favourites? Where did you obtain them? Thanks!
