Automatic Theme Switching (Follow System Theme / Scheduled Light & Dark Mode)

Hi :)

I would like to suggest adding automatic theme switching to Olauncher.

Currently, users can choose between Light and Dark themes manually. It would be great to have an additional option:

Follow System Theme

• Olauncher automatically switches between Light and Dark mode according to the Android system theme.
• This would work perfectly with Android's built-in scheduled dark mode and automation tools.

Optionally, it could also support:

• switching based on sunrise/sunset,
• switching at custom times chosen by the user.

This would improve usability for people who prefer a bright launcher during the day and a dark launcher at night, without requiring manual changes every day.

Olauncher is designed to reduce friction and distractions, and automatic theme switching would fit well with that philosophy.

No such plans at the moment but maybe in the future if we get a lot of interest in this feature.

I think interest in this feature could actually be quite high.

In my opinion, one of the few remaining concerns some users may have with Olauncher is OLED burn-in. Since the launcher is mostly static text displayed in the same locations on the home screen, many users with OLED devices may prefer to reduce the risk by using a light theme during the day and a dark theme at night, or by matching the system theme automatically.

Automatic theme switching would not only improve convenience, but could also help users feel more comfortable using Olauncher as their primary launcher on OLED phones.
