Crop EPUB images via screenshot

EPUB pages can't be render-cropped the way PDFs can — they reflow, so there's no fixed page to rasterize. This release adds a screenshot source to work around that:

  • Launch FrameClip from a non-PDF document (e.g. an EPUB) and it lists your recent screenshots from /storage/emulated/0/SCREENSHOT.
  • Tap a screenshot to load it into the usual crop UI — draw a box around just the image, adjust Tone, and Capture Clip.
  • From there it behaves exactly like a PDF crop: the clip lands in the gallery, ready to Insert Selected into a note.

To pull an image out of an EPUB: open the page → take a Supernote screenshot → launch FrameClip → tap the screenshot → crop.

PDF and note behavior are unchanged.

FrameClip 0.1.15-beta Pre-release
Pre-release

First beta release of FrameClip, a Supernote plugin that captures a region of a PDF page as a PNG and inserts it into a note.

Features

  • Render-then-crop from the current PDF page (no screenshots needed)
  • Draw-first cropping — drag to draw, corner to resize, buttons to fine-tune
  • In-plugin page navigation (‹ Prev / Next ›) to capture across a multi-page PDF
  • Tone adjustmentAuto · Off · 1 · 2 · 3 · 4 · B/W; contrast pivoted at white so faint scans darken without graying the background; B/W gives crisp 1-bit text
  • Multi-clip gallery in a note — thumbnail grid to insert or delete saved clips

Install

  1. Download FrameClip.snplg below.
  2. Copy it to your Supernote and install via the plugin manager.

Notes

  • Tested on the Supernote Nomad (A6 X2). Layout is device-aware but only the Nomad is verified on-device.
  • Beta software — feedback welcome.
