PyWebNN v0.5.1 - Packaging Fix

This patch release fixes the crates.io packaging issue that prevented v0.5.0 from being published due to excessive size.

Bug Fixes

  • Exclude examples directory from crate package (contained 13MB weight file)
  • Reduced package size from approximately 100MB to a few MB
  • Simplified exclude patterns in Cargo.toml

Notes

  • No functional changes from v0.5.0
  • All features and APIs remain identical
  • This release enables successful publication to crates.io

Installation

pip install pywebnn

Or build from source:

git clone https://github.com/tarekziade/rustnn.git
cd rustnn
maturin develop --features python
