Attributes

<mint.playerDistanceFade/>

When applied to a decal, that decals transparency will from then on be determined by the its distance from the player and 2 radii set by the mapper.

PARAMETERS FOR THIS ATTRIBUTE:

  • innerRadius - Default Float: 50.0
    • When the player is inside the inner radius, the decal will be fully visible.
    • When moving between this to the outer radius, the decals transparency will interpolate linearly from visible to transparent.
  • outerRadius - Default Float: 80.0
    • When the player is outside the outer radius, the decal will be fully transparent.
    • When moving between this to the inner radius, the decals transparency will interpolate linearly from transparent to visible.
  • fadeOut - Default Boolean: false
    • When set to true, fully inverts how this attribute works.
    • Being inside the inner radius makes the decal transparent, and being outside the outer radius makes the decal visible.
  • deathBehaivor - Default Enum: staySame
    • Defines how this decal reacts when the player dies.
    • This attribute has three options:
    • staySame
      • When the player dies, this decal freezes at it's current transparency until the player has fully respawned.
    • snapTo
      • When the player dies, this decal snaps to the transparency it should have if the player was outside its outer radius.
    • fadeOut
      • When the player dies, this decal fades from staySame to snapTo over 1 second.
  • deathFadeSpeedMultiplier - Default Float: 1.0
    • A multiplier to how fast this decal fades out when the player dies.
    • Only does anything if deathBehaivor is set to fadeOut

<mint.clockHand/>

When applied to a decal, that decal will begin to rotate and tick just like the hands of a clock would, based on several parameters.

PARAMETERS FOR THIS ATTRIBUTE:

  • alwaysUpdate - Default Boolean: false
    • When set to true, this decal will always update.
    • More specifically, this decal is given the tags TransitionUpdate, FrozenUpdate, and PauseUpdate
  • randomStart - Default Boolean: false
    • When set to true, this decal will spawn in pointing to any one of its designated stops chosen at random.
  • backwards - Default Boolean: false
    • When set to true, this decal will tick anti-clockwise.
  • stopNumber - Default Integer: 12
    • Determines the number of stops/ticks the decal will take as it rotates around.
    • For example, an hour hand would would a stop number of 12, while a minute or second hand would want a stop number of 60.
      • 12 hours on a clock, 60 minutes in an hour, 60 seconds in a minute
  • tickSpeed - Default Float: 1.0
    • The time it takes for the decal to tick from one stop to the next.
  • delay - Default Float: 0.1
    • after the decal has finished its current tick and has stopped, it will wait this long before beginning its next tick
  • allowTickFlag - Default String:
    • If this flag is defined, this decal will only try to begin a tick, if this flag is set to true.
    • Notably, this does not freeze this decal if the specified flag is false.
      • If this decal is in the middle of a tick, and this flag is set to false, the current tick will still finish.
  • easingFunction - Default Enum: Linear
    • Determines the easing function this decal uses to move from one stop to the next.
    • This attribute has many many options:
      • Linear, BackIn, BackOut, BackInOut, BigBackIn, BigBackOut, BigBackInOut, BounceIn, BounceOut, BounceInOut, CubeIn, CubeOut, CubeInOut, ElasticIn, ElasticOut, ElasticInOut, ExpoIn, ExpoOut, ExpoInOut, QuadIn, QuadOut, QuadInOut, QuintIn, QuintOut, QuintInOut, SineIn, SineOut, SineInOut
