Lönn Scripts
An extremely complicated script with many many inputs whose job is to allows mappers to randomize and manipulate large swaths of their stylegrounds all at once.
You want your map to have 40 mist layers but don't want to go through the hassle of manually randomizing the positions and speeds of every single one?
Then this is the script for you.
A big thing about this script through is that it is intentionally designed with a lot of friction.
Modifying stylegrounds is an irreversible process, and I've done everything in my power to assure that nothing bad will happen unless you specify EXACTLY what you want to happen AND sign away your right to be mad about any possible undesirable outcomes.
- Styleground Name
- Styleground Texture
- Styleground Group
- Styleground Tag
-
Target Layer
- All five of these parameters are designed for the sole purpose of selecting exactly which subset of all of your stylegrounds you want to modify.
With the exception ofTarget Layer, all of these parameters start off empty and the script will refuse to run unless all of them are filled in correctly.
For full and extended details on how to properly fill in all of these parameters, hover over the parameter name in Lönn when attempting to use the script!

-
Attribute
- This parameter is supposed to be the styleground attribute that you want to modify.
The script provides you with a handy list of every value modifiable in basic Parallax stylegrounds, but you can modify anything in any styleground as long as you provide the exact name.
- This parameter is supposed to be the styleground attribute that you want to modify.
- Modifier Upper Bound
-
Modifier Lower Bound
- These are the parameters that the script uses to generate the number it will use to modify your target styleground attribute.
Because there is no way to change the layout of a Lönn script midway through its use, this script is forced to assume the user wants to modify their target attribute using some amount of randomness. If this is something you don't want to do, just put the same number in both the upper and lower bound,
This will force the script to just generate that one number and nothing else.
- These are the parameters that the script uses to generate the number it will use to modify your target styleground attribute.
-
Operation
- This parameter determines what the script will actually do to your chosen parameter using the number it generates.
-
Round To Integer
- This parameter when enabled simply Rounds the result of whatever operation you chose to an integer. Simple as.
-
Apply Scroll
- A Request from Butcherberries, this parameter is designed for the sole purpose of FIXING stylegrounds that were broken via moving the room that contains them.
Hover over the parameter name in Lönn when attempting to use the script to learn exactly how to use this.

Enable Script
- The final safety net for both you and me, by checking this you understand exactly what your trying to do and can't get made at me if you made a mistake and fucked up your 200 stylegrounds.
An extremely simple script with no inputs whose only job is to close every open styleground group that is currently open in your stylegrounds window.
Normally when you open Lönn, every styleground group defaults to being open which, usually isn't that big of a big deal.
However... If your working on a massive collaborative or solo project with a absurd number of stylegrounds and styleground groups, the styleground menu ends up becoming a visual clusterfuck that's just really hard to navigate and find exactly which group your looking for.
With this script, you can just run it the moment you open Lönn and you'll be able to navigate your personally made styleground hell with ease!
- None! It just works. :)
