You can save the current buffer to a file (with Posting does have this feature. Implementation is pretty straightforward. |

This feature would make me use Harlequin. I think the tool is great, but I don't see the point of a TUI where I can't use Vim keybinds. |

This shipped a few versions ago. Use alt+e to open the buffer in VISUAL or EDITOR |

Description
As a neovim/helix user, I'd like to be able to open the query editor in my own editor.
I think creating bindings for vim users inside harlequin might be a bit much, so even without autocomplete, opening an external editor might be cool.
How can it work ?
I've done some testings and it seems that when doing git rebase -i, the git process creates a temporary file in /tmp (at least in linux) then reads the file when the process is closed.
To do
Add a configuration paramater for external editor (It might follow the $EDITOR env variable)
Add a keybind to open external editor (c^O maybe ?)
Allow post-external-editor action. ( I'm thinking about formating the query, but it can be "run query" for example )
PS : Thanks for your work on harlequin, I really appreciate the project
