Hi,
Astroid 3.2.x updates really messed up my site. I've spent so much time rewriting dozens of CSS rules, I really hope every update isn't going to be like this...

Custom codes are now loaded last, not first. Additionally, many things have changed regarding the additional display sizes. The fact that future adjustments will be necessary isn't Astroid's fault, but rather due to compatibility with, for example, Bootstrap specifications. So, you can never rule something like that out.

That's exactly the problem. I gather it's a Joomla issue...?

Sonny wrote to me in another post that Joomla's intention is for third-party extensions to use their own styles, rather than being altered by the main template. Does this mean all template editors using Bootstrap are experiencing the same problem?

It's not Joomla's fault either. It's because extension and plugin developers don't use Joomla's Bootstrap, but load their own Bootstrap. Astroid uses Joomla and doesn't load its own Bootstrap. Why others load their own Bootstrap is something you'd have to ask the developers there.
