The app enables users to quickly estimate and visualize forest residue (slash pile) volumes using the LiDAR sensor on iPad Pro or iPhone Pro devices.
SlashScan provides an intuitive workflow for:
- Real-time LiDAR-based 3D scanning of forest residue piles
- Automatic surface reconstruction and volume estimation
- Optional GPS tagging for geospatial mapping
- On-device processing (no data uploaded externally)
All data are processed locally on the device, ensuring full data privacy and portability for field operations.
