MD Patterns for ML features

We should consider using the [Material Design Patterns for Machine Learning Powered Features](https://material.io/collections/machine-learning/patterns-for-machine-learning-powered-features.html). Firebase has a nice [repo](https://github.com/firebase/mlkit-material-android) which demonstrates how to build it.

This might be a good opportunity to implement #44 as well.
