Is Refusal really different from Exploitation?

Two of the four stances are easy to confuse. Exploitation keeps the founding move but pushes it past where it wants to resolve, using the not-resolving as material. Refusal throws the founding move out entirely and builds on a different principle.

The project argues these are genuinely distinct positions, not two words for avant-garde. Do you buy that? Is there a work you would call clearly one and not the other -- or one that seems to be both at once, which would be a problem for the claim? Music, film, or anything else welcome.
