What would convince you the pattern is real, or fake?

The music part is proven. The claim that the same four stances run across many fields is not -- it is the open question.

So: what evidence would move you? What would a real demonstration look like to you, and what would a debunking look like? I have my own answers (a clear field where the stances plainly do not fit; the "exploit" and "refuse" stances collapsing into one), but I want yours -- partly because "what would change your mind" is a better conversation than "are you right."
