outbound proxy idea

Is it possible to use an outbound proxy with this method? I mean: if we have a SOCKS or HTTP proxy on a VPS in the Netherlands, can we combine it with this tool so websites see traffic coming from our VPS instead of Google fetchers? Google fetchers can’t open sites protected by Cloudflare. Thanks.

This is already supported — set upstream_socks5 in your config to a host:port (or user:pass@host:port) and every Apps-Script fetch (and every plain-tcp passthrough) egresses via that proxy. That's exactly the "so Cloudflare sees the VPS IP, not Google's fetcher" shape you want.

Desktop UI: Advanced → Upstream SOCKS5. Android: the field is persisted in config.json (upstream_socks5) but not yet surfaced in the Android UI; I'll add a text box in the next release. HTTP (not SOCKS5) upstream isn't supported — SOCKS5 is more common on VPSes and avoids the CONNECT-rewriting headache.

Correcting myself — I misread the Android UI earlier; it does already expose Upstream SOCKS5 in the Advanced section (HomeScreen.kt:1096-1106). Both platforms have it.

I set 149.129.226.9:1080 via GUI and advanced section, Then I click on save config and I click on start but ip.me shows google IP. what is the problem?

Closing — already supported via upstream_socks5 in both desktop and Android. The architectural gap you described (Google fetchers can't access Cloudflare sites) is exactly what this field solves. If you try it and hit specific trouble, open a new issue with the SOCKS5 URL shape (host:port or user:pass@host:port) and logs.
