No Keys found in the "ts_kv_dictionary" table yet, on the "latest telemetry tab" of Device, data shows

I am sending some basic JSON data (temp, humidity etc.) and the "latest telemetry tab" is showing the data. However, when i try to build the dashboard; add entity alias for the device, it says "no Keys found". Upon look at the ts_kv_dictionary, sure enough there arent any keys.

Environment

version 3.2.0
running locally
postgrest db.

I was trying to look for where the keys were coming from in the ts_kv table but unable to trace.

@periatrubikx what if you just write out the full key yourself. As in, if you know your key is "temperature", write out the word temperature and hit the "create new timeseries key" option.

Does that update the ts_kv_dictionary table?

Hi @JacksonBowe - Thanks for the response. I tried it and it didn't seem to have created an entry in the ts_kv_dictionary table. Weird how the telemetry tab still shows the data though.

Although, the dashboards do show the data for the "newly" created key; the key is not in the table though. So, guess from an outcome perspective, its working, but little curious as to "how".

@ashvayka - What is interesting is the fact that manually creating the keys when trying to create the dashboards seem to display the data. The Telemetry tab also shows the information. The ts_kv and ts_kv_latest have the "key" column populated; however the ts_kv_dictionary table is empty.

Hi, Fresh install. However, as part of my testing I would clear up the three tables (lastet, dictionary and kv), unless there are other tables that I need to “reset” as well.
