Describe the bug
The internal reverse buffer s performing a re-allocation where it should request a new allocation.

To Reproduce
It is not likely that this bug will appear as the wrong allocation will most likely never happen.

Expected behavior
Expecting behavior without error. Undefined behavior might occur if this bug is hit.
