Problem
When receiving images via WeChat, the original full-size image is not downloaded. Earlier in this session, an image message came through as an empty body (no image content), and a second attempt only delivered a compressed/thumbnail version.
Expected
Original size images should be downloadable and forwarded to the agent.
Context
- Observed on 2026-02-21
- First image: arrived as empty message (no content at all)
- Second image: arrived successfully but unclear if original resolution
- Platform: agent-wechat container plugin for OpenClaw
